    Turbo. Soon to come
Yes I'm sorry for the confusion. I was asking about the taco pods that install around the dash.

Got mine! Used a step bit to drill it out....easy. Then shop vac’d out the shavings. Whole project was maybe 30 min. Thanks Meso!!

Well, the soldering iron knife blade worked well enough, probably should have just gotten a true hotblade because this one was more of a wedge. But the tritons are in. Now, the triton bulbs came with what looks like a splice each, and there's two little coils of wire packaged in with the stage 2. Didn't see anything about those items in the videos for stage 1 or 2, do I need to run them?

No need to use those little coils, can't remember what they were intended for but they aren't needed

Good deal, time to button this all back up!

Edit: Alright, it's night time and man, I'm in love. I felt bad for the people who decided to have a pow-wow in the parking lot behind my truck when the reverse lights hit em right at eye level, but hey, at least I had zero chance of not seeing them!

I think this is so much better. The amber I think is more noticeable of a signal. The pure white reverse just looks more high end and is bright! ... Shoulve come this way from the factory IMO.

@MESO, I’m curious about this as well. I’ll be needing another set of these, as the ones that came with my stage 2 kit are epoxied in place.

I third this? My adapters are epoxied in as well and I would need another set to change out tails to a non-chromed version.

Have you pm direct? Got mine in today

Now I wait on my tails to come in Friday and I’ll be ready to cut again. Lesson learned… don’t drop taillights on ground! Even though the corner is chipped, it doesn’t look like it broke the seal and after all the rain this past weekend didn’t look like it let any water in

I haven’t reached out directly yet. My TRD Pro Tails have frickin chips all in them, from where I used the step drill. I’m going to try and get them out this coming weekend with a shopvac. I have an idea on how to get the air flowing through them, and if that doesn’t work I’ll either live with it or go to plan B.

    Plan B:
I actually have a second unmolested set of TRD Pro tails. I’d rather fix the ones I’ve already modified and sell the untouched ones, but I’m ok chopping them with a heat knife if I can’t get the chips out and can get a hold of another set of adapters.

You remember those maze type games?

    https://www.amazon.com/ThinkGeek-A-Maze-Ball-Maze-Game-Medium/dp/B01GIW80VY

It’s literally just like this  I took all bulbs out used compressed air in all holes, vacuumed in all holes (covering and uncovered the other openings) did the maze ball and I’d alternate between them all. My last shard got stuck in the bottom out of the reverse bucket (which could only get out at a certain spot) so that’s when I started doing the maze ball shaking it, flipping it and flicking it. It will come out but seriously need a lot of patience

Edit: I’ll be using the soldering iron with knife tip for the cutting this time start to finish instead of step bit first knife after

Well, blacked out back of lens to define the 3c's. Right idea but paint bleed under tape. Hard to see in pic. It's all perferated so can't clean it up. :pout::annoyed::rofl:

Looks good. How noticeable will they be behind the red lenses ? I’m sure the lights will be so bright you won’t even notice unless your looking for the imperfections.

Bad lighting, it's just 2 flashlights one in each socket.
Hard to see on pic but very noticable in person. :notsure:
My fault, should have used frig tape and dampened the edges first.

I'll probably finish them over time and see how it goes.

I think it looks pretty good. What would it look like with the reflector black, or tinted more ?

Better than mine. That actually has a welded in chrome backing and is just a reflector. . No light shines through it. I guess it could be tinted or just paint it black like Meso did.
