that some good drywall patching. any tips?

 

Either way getting cuffed at an accident scene can’t be good. Hope my source was wrong.

 

I used the primed mdf from Lowe’s( can’t stand the home dump anymore. I’m pleased with how it went up. The pre-painted has a sticker on it that leaves a residue that sucks to remove. Having the miter saw makes it so easy. When I needed to shave a 32nd-16th, it’s so smooth. The worst part was when I finished, the wife liked it so much she wants me to do more. If that was the case, I would have done the corner differently.

Having a big knife and don’t short yourself mud. Buy more than you think you need. I used a 12” knife that I rounded the edges off. Also, you can build a low spot much easier than hide a bump. If you’re not sure on the thickness of your existing sheet, error on the thinner side. The hardest part of that whole patch was the corner, as the old wall was not even close to smooth. Many low spots that had to be built up. I also recommend using a drywall rasp to fine tune your edges.

Well if you feeling frisky give me a shout man. The kit I did has a little cloth where you do small passes back forth with the clear for the final coat. It was a primitive application, but works really well.

 

Did more cleaning today and got my exhaust most of the way reinstalled and did the final tightening on the down pipes off the turbos. Those fucks are so hard to get to. The heat shield that covers the drive shaft was nasty and I need to get an one piece drive shaft because the old factory carrier bearing is toast.

 

Shove some caulk in it and it'll be good

 

Never got an answer to this (that I saw, anyways). Is this the right Baofeng to get?

I had a 6 mm one over Christmas and I thought I was dying. Morephe is the best but I still was sent home because it was "too small"

I remember my pops getting laid up in the hospital from one. Sub contractor found him in the bushes throwing up he was in such pain.

Proper hydration is key to avoiding stones...stay away from Gatorade, soda, the like...if you're not pissing clear 10 times a day, you're doing it wrong!
