    Hello TW!

I've been a longtime lurker, and with the purchase of my TurdGen, I finally decided to create an account. I've especially enjoyed the dumpster fires that frequently occur here... and it looks like we have some very accomplished and talented trolls. ...oh, and the content is top notch as well. There is a wealth of information here, so much so, that I think Toyota should reference this site in the owners manual. Feedback here kept me from going the way of a spacer lift, and I'm super happy so far with the mods I've done using the experience from the group.

I've been a Toyota owner for a while now, owned a 94 4Runner SR5 4x4... it shit the bed at about 150k. Then went looking for trucks and was looking at a 1st Gen... low and behold there was a brand new 2005 2nd Gen DCLB SR5 4x4 on the lot and jumped all over it. Loved that truck and started modding immediately. 6 months later, total loss due to a flood.... Once bitten twice shy, ended up with a 2006 DCLB SR5 4x4 and kept that one stock with only 94k on it prior to trade in a few months ago. Loving the look and finish of the 3rd Gen, but miss the old 1GR 4.0... especially the torque down low. Mods so far are Fox 2.5 IFPs with Icon UCAs in the front and Icon leaf in the rear. Also flashed the truck with OVTune and have enjoyed not having to reach for ECT all the time. Have some method Vex 311s in Titanium waiting to be installed, and will probably wrap them in 285/70r17 K-Bro-2s.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for all the good info, and look forward to contributing to the group!
