So your saying that you are not too overly obsessive?:sorry:

It’s all I can do to not wax the springs and frame. The newness will rub off one day. Brand new truck isn’t something that happened around here often.

Since everyone here knows each other by first names I guess it is time to formally introduce myself here. My name is Barry. My pups name is Arthur.

A little bit about me just so you will know:
I am coming to the end of a long journey of raising 3 kids by myself. My youngest is about to turn 19. He was only 1.5 years old when I became a single parent. My oldest son is a college graduate, my daughter is a college graduate and my youngest has just begun his career in HVAC. He chose a trade over college. I am proud of all three. I was the baby of my family so everyone is gone except for my older brother who lives several states away from me. I miss my mom and dad, aunts, uncles and grandparents. But that is life.
I may not know a lot about some things, but I know a little about a lot of things, and a lot about a few things, so I just try to help wherever I can because I believe that is what we should do towards our fellow sisters and brothers here on earth. :) I have been taken advantage of by many people in my life because of the way I think, but as I grow older and realize how precious life is, I no longer care if I take a hit or two along the way.

So, anyway. That is me in a nutshell, and I hope everyone is well tonight.

    Hey Barry.
Add your first name to your profile so we can learn and remember it.
Myself, I suck at remembering names. So I need to be reminded.
Very nice post with lots of respect for you and your family.

    Barry,
Everybody was born knowing nothing, we all learn along the way. People that profess they know everything are really just saying how insecure they really are. Good job on the kids dude. I’m proud of you!!
I know enough to know how little I do know.
    Cheers!!

I am glad you responded. So I got a story for you. Was running around this past weekend and ran into a guy that had a tshirt with the image of your avatar on his shirt. So I stopped him and asked him: "Hey man there is this dude on a website I am on that has that image as his avatar. If you don't mind me asking, what is that image?"
He looked at me as if I had fell to earth from another planet. He was like: "Punisher"

OH YEAH. LOL. I knew that. (I did not know that) I will just shrink down and go hide somewhere.

    Barry,

Attaboy! ... raising those kids by yourself was a long road no doubt. By the way, they'll always be your kids and want your advice and help. ;)
Bear says hello to Arthur. :)
