Any Colorado folks recommend a camping site on the golden to ft collins to steamboat area? Going at the end if the month and most sites seem full.
I tent or sleep in the truck.

Look into the Laramie River. It's free dispersed camping with good fishing in the river. Look around and you will find a spot that is riverfront, and pretty secluded. There are a few reservoirs that are good fishing also. Check out Long Draw Canyon Reservoir while there.
