    2012 4x4 DCLB Sport Upgrade
    Greetings All,

I have a 2012 DCLB 4x4 with stock suspension and I ordered it with the TRD Sport Upgrade Package when I got it. The Sport Upgrade Package "upgraded" the tires/wheels to 265/60R18 on the chrome-clad 18" wheels. BTW, I ripped the chrome-clad stuff off and the wheels look much better.

We got my wife a 2018 4Runner SR5 Premium and it has the stock 265/70R17 tires and she sits an inch taller than I do.

I am looking to get that inch back but getting the same size tire for the 18" wheel takes me up 2", I am okay with that.

In using it calculates that the new tire is 32.6" in diameter as opposed to 30.5" in diameter, what I have on now.

First, will the stock suspension on my Taco fit the larger diameter tire without rubbing?
I think it should fit because I am not getting a wider tire and it is only being increased by 1" from the rim, but I am not sure.

My second question, should I get 5 tires to include the spare?
2" is a lot of difference and I would think it could cause mechanical damage if driven for a lot of miles to get the flat repaired/replaced.

And lastly, would I be able to take it to a dealership to have them re-program the computer with the new tire size to make the speedo read properly?
According to the information on the site, and below, the speedo would read 70 mph but I would actually be traveling at 74.8 mph.

    Thx in advance folks.

Don't know if you're still toying with the idea but I can answer a few: [I'm bored at lunch]
I'm pretty sure they won't fit without a lift, or at least will rub,,,I have 2 tacomas both with 18" one has 265/60r18 and the other I put a little bigger tire, 265/65r18, neither rub. The 265/65 has about 1.75" of clearance from the tire to the well, and is 1" larger than the 265/60. I have a 3" toytec lift and am putting 265/70r18 now that I'll have the room.

Good idea to have a spare that matches.

I'm sure the dealer can re-calibrate the speedo.

I have stock suspension on an SR5.
My front sags just a little bit, no armor or anything.
    265 65 18 rubs.
But I think it's mostly the -12 offset compared to the tire size.
