    Hey, how is it going?

So I recently purchased a new 2019 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab /w 6 foot long bed Trd Off-road edition in Super White and i can not wait to start modifying my truck to go overlanding.
I live in Southern California in the orange county area so i hope to meet some new people in the area!

I own another car, which i love dearly, and it is my 08 Honda Accord i4. It was my daily but i needed a truck for the type of work i do so that is why i picked up my new Taco. It is slightly modified and will now because my fun car. I know, i know... it's a 4 cylinder Honda... How is it a fun car when it is slow with an i4 engine... :p I don't care for speed. I love the way it looks and how many heads it turned with my "4 cylinder slow Honda" hahah

Anyways, i am super happy with my purchase and can not wait to wrench on this beauty!!!!

Awesome looking truck!! If you don't mind me asking, what was the MSRP and what did you pay?

    Thank you!

I got the truck for 35,050$ Plus Tax, Title and License with a 1.9% APR 60 month financing. I could of went with my bank and got the 750$ cash back money but i wouldn't of gotten the low APR financing, which in my opinion isn't worth it. The MSRP on the car was 39,790$ if i remember correctly.

Ok...thank you very much. I was trying to get a gauge of how much off of the MSRP is considered to be a good deal. It seems 4-5K off is.

I went to 10 different dealerships around my area and that was the best i could do unfortunately. I tried to get it down to at least 34,500 ish but i didn't want to get the high APR interest rate so i went with the 35k lol :p.

Whew...that is a ton of running around ! But, it is worth it to save a K or two. I can definitely understand going after the APR too. I am in rural SW CO. So, I'll first just test drive one to see how I like them. Concurrently, I'll try to achieve some negotiating via email to cut back on going to many dealers. The closest dealer to me is 1 hr away. There is a thread out there that is basically "how much are you paying for your 2019 Tacoma". One of the guys there flew in to Denver to purchase a truck from one of the volume dealers. I will definitely include them on my internet hunt message; they are about 6-6.5 hrs from here.

    Thank you!

Yup. The first 3 dealership did not budge much from there MSRP. Some wanted 38k some wanted 37k. Went to a couple more, and also tried used truecar.com. One of the dealership called me from truecar and worked with me on the price and next thing you know i bought it haha.
So far i love the car except the tail gate not locking when you lock the car. It has power but some say its weak but i think its just fine as is.
    Good Luck!

Absolutely love it! Had been looking for a while for a long bed with leather and sunroof so I waited a good bit to get it. Such a soft ride and despite the length still has that compact and tight feel that i’ve been used to for years in my FJ.
