Torques your jaws, grinds your gears... I hear ya though, I currently have 3 packages M.I.A from USPS. 2 say "Delivered" and the last says "Notice Left" (no authorized recipient available) All are Ef'in LIES!

Well apparently there was a secret option 3. The box that showed as delivered last Thursday appeared on my porch today.

I didn't see who dropped it off (USPS or UPS). When looking at the box I noticed a label was only half attached. Looking at it closer the top label had my name, address and a date stamp of today. I peeled it off and behind it was another label, with someone else's name and address, with a date stamp of last Thursday. The main, giant UPS label with the barcode has my name and address and wasn't covered or altered.

My guess is UPS did hand it off to the USPS, they attached the small label (the wrong one) and used that for their delivery destination. The Baker sig, as someone mentioned above, was probably a guy at USPS. So the wrong recipients probably gave it back to the USPS, who took it back, generated the correct label, put it over the wrong one and delivered it.

But I could be wrong. Who knows. I called Amazon and let them know the original showed up and asked for an RMA, which they emailed, so back it goes. Closet light is in, time to get the doors on and get this project done!

I’m pretty sure the smaller tag on the package is a UPS thing... it’s duplicated in event they lose the original label I assume. Sounds like UPS incompetence on this one, just glad you got your stuff.
