Don't do a block lift. It won't ride good at all. Been there done that. Spend money on a proper lift.

seen so much hate on blocks. Why? some people say they ride just as good if not better. personally, I came from a sports car to this thing so I think it rides like a boat. I'm just trying to find out whats actually bad about blocks or if a 2" will be fine for what I need.

OP, I've done a lot of reading on this forum and outside of forum as well. There isn't anything wrong with Spacer lifts as long as you don't intend on off roading and also don't intend on going too crazy with spacers. I'm about to get the same lift as you. I have a 2wd, so i don't necessarily have to worry about the needle bearing that 4X4s have. The other fear is the shocks bottoming out, which in normal driving conditions shouldn't be a problem unless you hit a really bad pot hole. All the situations i've read about shocks snapping is generally involved with some off roading experience, and i highly doubt having a nicer suspension set up better prevents breakage than making stupid decisions.
