As long as you have 12v power, you have a compressor. A power tank is finite on any given instance

I vote the OP goes with a belt driven compressor.

Not meaning to pry and I couldn’t read through 7 pages but I hope the 23K in mods are in cash and not 20%+ credit cards, reverse mortgages, cash out refi....

I have the arb single and am looking at the double for no reason other than quicker. A friend of mine has a pair of outback extremes that will air up 4 37s in the time I air up 2 32s.

I’ve got the dual ARB compressor and it pushes more than enough air to air up my 33s. I can do all 4 in roughly 5 to 6 minutes from 15 psi to 35 ish.

No credit cards. It's essentially a weekend toy. I couldn't justify financing something intended just for fun! I like where your head is!

I know it seems kinda lame to think about time spent airing up...have a beer while tires air. But, if we spend the kinda time we hope/plan to spend, over say a year, time can add up!!

Going thru all of this, looking at al the different options for upgrades, etc. It gets a bit overwhelming! Like I said previously, I don't want to have to upgrade upgrades! Just wanna get it right the first time as best I can!!

So, I really like these wheels, but couldn't get my head around the chrome nuts on the faux beadlock. I just received back some black oxide button head bolts coated so they wouldn't rust and like the change!!

That’s where mine is. I built a bracket for it. Mine is a 2nd gen MT though so I’ve got a lot of real estate under there.

Primary tire jack. I use the lift-mate, it is excellent.
    Secondly self recovery manual winch.
Tertiary as a cross beam to protect my lights when transporting long lumber lengths or ladders.

I typically store it in the gear box unless I have luggage or parcels in there then I clamp it to the upper bar as was the case in this photo.

Glad you use it for more than a truck ornament like most. I also keep one around as a secondary winching device as well as for jacking applications. Truth be told, I’d prefer to use my bottle jack to lift the truck if at all possible though.
