Well we're both making assumptions on the lower without seeing the actual rifle so that makes us both assholes :drunk:

Only thing I can think of is getting an MPX upper maybe and trying that way. Youre going to be hard pressed to find someone that makes a Piston system for AR9 because it's so dirty. Might be a good market to get into since there isnt one though. I know PSA's AK9 uses a gas system but its a different platform all together anyway.

Preliminary count looks like 500 Carl Gustav SS109, sealed and in the original can (I sold the other 500 when I got it), 500 Wolf Mil Classic, ~800 Federal/LC XM193, and gotta finish but looks like atleast 1,000 of PMC X-tac 62gr steel core green tip, and atleast 500 PMC 55gr. Still packing and going through stuff, also have about 10 or 15 assorted Pmags and a few steelies

    Posting here not to clutter.

Sorry for the ignorance, i'm still new to guns. What makes this different than a $50 lower you can get on PSA? Just curious

Cooler designs, reinforcements, larger magwell, looks weight reduction, and finish, too. All subjective, but also really cool.

Thanks man, I didn’t even know this was a thread lol.

Really it’s all brand, but workmanship and materials to an extent. It also has some threaded keepers in place of some roll pins and a tension bolt to minimize upper/lower rattle. I liked it because it was a good looking lower with no markings so I could have another one engraved with my logo.

This lower was originally gonna be for a Grendel build, it may still be. I’m just having more fun with my truck than guns right now, that can swing at any moment. Still want a Grendel though.

I've been going hard on my truck for six months. Now getting back into my guns again. I have no use for a Gucci lower. I have a built Grendel Hunter 16" upper with Leupold scope and Harris bipod. I only need a simple lower as I'm planning for this to be a hunting/plinking rifle, not tactical or game gun.

I can dig that. I was planning a balls out lightweight build for hunting, but I bought a truck. I put together a full on Gucci 6.8 for my wife, F1 receiver set and hand guard, Wilson barrel and bolt, spared no expense kinda build, and I got jealous lol. I was gonna start a really nice one to match the ones I’ve done for the rest of the family but I lost my steam for a while, it will come back.
