The offer runs through September 3.
If you're shopping for a rugged truck, there is nearly $6,000 in incentives available on the 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, according to Cars Direct. The automaker's offers don't generally apply to this off-road-oriented trim level. The only downside of this deal is that it's not available nationwide, so if you're intrigued, check with your local showroom.

The 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro starts at $44,080 after the $1,120 destination fee. These incentives give customers the choice of taking $1,500 off the cost or getting 1.9 percent financing for 60 months and $750 in bonus cash. According to Cars Direct, taking the finance deal would save $5,890 over a six percent APR loan on the pickup previously.

The incentive offers for the Tacoma TRD Pro run through September 3, so curious buyers have a little time to think about the purchase. The deals don't extend to any of the other TRD Pro trims, like on the 4Runner, Sequoia, or Tundra.

While these incentives apply to the 2019 Tacoma, it's worth noting that the 2020 model arriving later this year has a slight refresh. For the latest TRD Pro, the truck has sequential LED headlights and daytime running lights. There are now black inserts in the taillights, and the pickup's wheels have an updated design. The cabin gets a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat and eight-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa connectivity.

The Tacoma TRD Pro rides on sophisticated Fox shocks with multiple bypass zones that let them become progressively stiffer with compressed. The ones at the back have external reservoirs. A bigger front sway bar sharpens handling. The truck rides an inch higher than other Tacomas, too. A skid plate underneath the pickup protects the vital mechanical components. An optional TRD Desert Air Intake adds a snorkel on the A-pillar so that the engine can breathe cleaner air.

Basing savings off a 6% loan is a little misleading because if you're capable of obtaining Toyota's financing at the 1.9% rate, you can currently get a prime rate at a competitive bank for 3.4% at 60 months.

Good stuff none the less. A 1.9% rate is a solid deal.

EDIT: Scratch that 3.4% rate. I found a 60 month for 3.19 at BOA. Possibly lower elsewhere.

LOL. What a load of absolute made up shit. 6k savings on a 6%APR loan. The national average is 4% at the moment for someone with crap credit.

Basically it’s $1,500 off, or a 1.9% APR loan. Just leave it at that and stop with the made up bullshit.

Agreed the 6% is a bit misleading but you be surprised how many people can not even qualify for 6%..out in the real world.

I wouldn’t be surprised. But I would be surprised if they were trying to buy a $45k truck. Ie I bet the average APR on $45k vehicles sold in 2019 is a shit load less than 6%. I also skimmed over the first link, wow, what a ton of fictitious junk. Carsdirect.com is now blocked on my firewall so thanks for the heads up.

After getting my credit ran at several dealerships earlier this year and refinancing my house, my credit went from almost 700 to 625. I'm scared to know what I could qualify for lol

This past year, I had my credit checked through multiple dealerships. Pre-qualified for a home loan from three different banks and my credit rating is still 800+ :crapstorm:

On a site note: if you can't qualify for a vehicle loan with less than 4% interest rate, you probably shouldn't be buying a 45K vehicle.

That's great man! I believe it's because my credit history is almost non existent. Owned house for 2 years with ex as co owner. When I refinanced solely in my name my credit history went back down to 0 years since my account was closed and re opened (according to credit karma) getting my credit ran at multiple dealerships right after didn't help. It doesnt bother me too much. I make decent money and I'm soon to be 28. When I get my new tacoma I'm sure they'll rape me on my interest rate, but I gotta build my credit somehow ya know? Lol
