Fog Lights in Oklahoma?

Wife got pulled over in her Civic a month ago in OKC for "running fog lights during non-inclement weather" at night. Which is horseshit, I literally pass 4 state troopers and OKCPD a day with my fogs on day and night and am never bothered.

 

Wonder if one can say they are an auxiliary driving lamp instead of a fog lamp? Because lets be honest they actually do provide auxiliary driving light more more effective than as a fog light at least with the poor lighting stock.

Most fogs don't bother me but using them in non-inclement weather is illegal for a reason. Plenty of people out there can't see as well as us, eyes don't adjust as quickly etc. Most of them aren't that bad which is why the cops don't bother, but the flipside is if they actually do pull you over then your fogs might be pretty bad.

Agreed the lifts, leveling kits, and shitty Chinese HIDs on the rampant disease of bro-dozers is a 100x bigger issue. Those and the tools with red or green DRLs. Some of them need to be put on a rollback on the spot and not allowed back on the road until they are fixed. We do also have a law regarding headlight aiming on the books.

 

They are illegal in oklahoma unless it can be deemed inclement weather conditions. Mostly if they want to pull over for something or if they are stupid bright.
