Anyone have aftermarket mudflaps that use

ive got some used but good condition oem mud flaps in my garage. depending on which one you need, you could have it if you want it...just pay shipping

 

What state you in? Just wondering? Last year was a rough winter here, several days of cold weather too! 3 days in a row it was -30 actual temp

 

So you returned the Rekgens cause they use spacers that enable the flap to be straight?

I have some XLs sitting in my garage I should put on next week. Most likely going to rub with 285s but no choice I guess.

My fenders have the black OR flares, so there are some built in uneven surfaces that hold the flaps out away from the holes the stock plastic flaps went into.

 

Walmart or Ikea cutting boards. The real thin plastic ones. Been a hack in the subie community for a looooong time.

Well for some reason everyone has such a hard on for the rally style cutting board mudflaps so companies just make those.

 

Hideous doesn't even begin to describe it. Literally, broke high school kid level.

 

The teal ones go in the kitchen, the grey ones you don't even notice. @P.Blackley can prob give you a few pics of his rad 1st gen with them. If he hadn't pointed them out to me, I wouldn't have noticed.

 

if cut to size they literally look the same as 200 dollar rally armor flaps. Shit even the material is pretty much identical.

 

oh, I'm not knocking the hack. Good idea and I'm a fan of the IKEA hacking community.

But those mudflaps look terrible on a truck.

Just overlaid the oem flaps and punched out the holes for the oem hardware.
Been running these for years now.

 

I like the look of the '80s toyota pickup mud flaps has anyone put a set of those on a 3rd gen?
