Man I miss Virginia. Not DC though, ha!

I love the side protection you've got. I think the HC would be very useful especially with the tubular bars.

Awesome! We've only used our hot water twice so far. It was great. The case with everything in it is a bit of a pain currently though. Just big and awkward mainly. Can't wait to get it mounted on a swingout. Hoping it'll get here early October.

We got this sprayer and really like it. Was much better than what came with our water heater.

Love having it, they didnt have them at the time I ordered mine but definitely consider one of their vault wraps. I plastidipped and stickered mine but will likely peel off to add a wrap soon

Any feedback on crawling into the shell at night and being able to close the swing out? Don’t really want the tire all the way out there putting that much weight on the frame overnight, so looking to see if anyone has any experience with being able to close the swing out once you’re in the shell and still being able to close the glass at least most of the way. Weird question, but looking to snag one if it’s not too much of a pain in this scenario.

I leave mine out overnight and it's not an issue. If leaving it out overnight would cause an issue, imagine what would happen to it when you are driving, even with it closed.

yea usually not possible. plus if a good samaritan comes by and closes your swingout your essentially locked in. i had to order a windoor to make another entry/exit incase the swingouts had to be closed.

PO installed a Brute Force Fab HC rear bumper without swingouts. I recently had SOB Fabrications (Ruidoso New Mexico) build dual shear custom dual swing outs. Extremely pleased with the decision and end result.

Very late to the thread but oh well it may help others in the future.

How's your visibility effected? What visibility. Backup cam sees nothing but could be relocated if required. I can't use my rear view mirror either due to the cap so it's just side mirrors for me.

Why did you choose a single or dual swing out? Dual. The length of the single is 4'ish and makes opening the swing out difficult in parking lots and garages. The dual is a nice option which allows me to keep the swing arms open in the closed garage when loading/unloading. The dual swing arms also breaks up the weight to two pivot points.

Would you change anything about your setup? No, I made the right choice with the dual swingouts. Well, now that I think about it, I maybe would have done a high clearance bumper with dual swingouts.

Is the built in table worth the $150+ ? I have two smaller tables but yes they are worth it IMO.

Powder coat, Line-X or rattle can? Powder coat (nice weather crappy powder coat that isn't best for my climate but is holding up ok since it's not daily driven). I can touch up the areas with spray paint but if I did it again, I'd likely Line-X it.

You don't really have a choice.
If you get Archive Garage hammer hangers with the cross brace (you should), it removes your spare from the stock location.
Therefore you must get a swingout to mount it.

    I would powdercoat.
It's not worth your time, nor paint in your lungs, trying to find a place to paint it at home.
Even with good effort put into prep, primer, paint, clear, etc. it can still develop issues after DIY

My SOS bumper came (used) with a swing out tire carrier. I took the swing out off and welded a little step that goes in the hinge. To me the swing out is a PITA for typical truck use and bed access. I think its great for wheeling and stuff, but not on a daily.

why not just run no spare and load e 10-ply tires?
Or keep a spare at home and bring in the bed when wheeling

10-ply load E is probably much harder to pop than Load C…

    Wat?!

Just remove the swing-out when not needed.

My 4xInnovations single swing out comes off with 1 bolt, done. Takes about 1 minute, done.
