    '10 TRD Access Cab 6 speed manual
    TRD intake, skid plate, cat back exhaust and short throw shifter. Bilstein 5100 leveling front and 5100 shocks rear. 32” Falken WP AT4W tires on Gen 3 wheels.
    I think if Toyota offered the 4 Runners 4.0 six and manual shift transfer case, and either the six speed manual or six speed automatic in both the 4 Runner and Tacoma they would sell like pardons in a prison.

    I think you meant to post this in the 2nd Gen forum?

    The manual T case and hubs would be cool. The 3.5l motor is a good one.

    If they updated the old 4L and gave it some serious torque low in the RPM range, gave it some breathing room so it didn't run out of puff and higher speeds, and made it slightly more efficient, then yes I would agree hands down. I am not a fan of Atkinson motor, robs it of grunt in the lower RPM range where a truck requires it
