I have a 2019 shortbed and I'm looking to buy the Tyger trifold cover. I've been price watching for a few weeks and yesterday I noticed there is a specific model for the 2019 and 2016-2018. Having had a 2016 shortbed I'm almost certain there has been no update to the bed size from 2018 to 2019. Is that correct? Or has there been a change?

I emailed Tyger and this is their response.

Message: Hi. I am looking to purchase a tri-fold tonneau cover for my Tacoma. I notice there is a different model of the T3 tri-fold for the
2019 (TG-BC3T1630) compared to the 2016-2018 (TG-BC3T1530). I'm pretty sure nothing has changed between the 2016-2018 model years and 2019 (I had a 2016 Tacoma) and was wondering of there was a difference between the TG-BC3T1630 and TG-BC3T1530 covers?
    Thank you.

    Hello,

2019 Tacoma has slightly different body style than 2018. We designed our Tonneau to fit specific models of vehicle.

    Thank you!

    Best Regards,
    Mia

Same exact bed. All 16-19 parts are interchangeable.

16-19 will be exactly the same. Who knows about the 2020's, but I'm sure even those will be the same.

You would have to ask Tyger that question.

Figured there was no difference in the bed size. Guess I’ll order the 2016-2018 version and save a few bucks.
