Suspension squeak

Over the last 2 days my truck has developed a high pitched squeak from the drivers side rear. It squeaks with even the slightest movement, like me getting in and out of the truck. When I stand by the rear wheel and rock the truck by hand it sounds like it's coming from in front of the wheel, and upon inspection I see a small area rubbed to a shine just in front of the bracket holding the leafs. Stands to reason that's where the squeak is coming from. I've got 5100s all the way around, but no lift in the rear. Any idea what might cause this? I'm taking the truck to the dealer this week anyway for the 15K service, and my SA is cool and mod friendly, but just wondering if there is any way they could point a finger at the 5100s, or the installation of them.

 

Let see a photo of where the lower portion of the shock bolts to the rear end.

 

Here you go. Anything specific, or certain angle you’re looking for? The sound is definitely coming from well in front of the shock, but I realize the problem could start elsewhere.

 

Could be the leafs and they are missing the little pads that go in between, could be the the leaf hangers and bushings. Spray some wd40 in the area and see if it stops.

 

Once you locate the squeak a little of this stuff goes a long ways, won't wash out either:

Search 'leaf spring squeak'

 

Looks right...regarding the leaf pack in between the leafs is a very thin stainless steel shim if I recall right don’t believe it’s aluminum it’s been awhile since I took one apart for a AAL. You can try squirting some rattle can lithium grease with the straw on the end in between the leafs as lithium is the best on bare metal or chain wax for motorcycles. See if it helps but it gonna be hard to get in there with everything sinched down.
