First truck was a 14, traded up for a 16, buyers remorse set in about 20 minutes after leaving the dealership! Decided to wait it out, learn to love it. Drunk driver made my decision for me, totalled it. Searched for two months to find a 15. 60,000 miles later still not looking back.IMG_20190810_102323431_HDR.jpg

Good idea. You should never let someone pressure you into a sale. Buy the truck because YOU decided to buy the truck, not because someone decided to sell you a truck you didn't necessarily need

I totally hear you on this. Test drive is the key in determing whether or not, I will even like the 3rd gens. I am going to hold off for now and wait for the 2020s, then test drive those and some older years.

Tastes and preferences are different for everyone for sure.

I have actually owned a 1st Gen at one time, a 2004 Barcelona red with the 3.4L engine. While I liked the truck, I did not like the open engine air filter design that came stock on those years.

Too much room to flood the engine with water, unless you had modified it with a snorkel. Other than that, the truck went anywhere and was solid.
