I don’t think mine are that tightly laid but it’s been quite a few years so I may be mistaken. I shoot with a guy on the department, I’ll ask him about it. Thanks for the tip.

Picked up a Milwaukee M18 6.5" skillsaw today in preparation for some wedding wood projects my fiancee has commissioned me for. It was $25 cheaper at Home Depot than Amazon, and I got a discount on top of that too.

Also was going to get a small 6 gallon air compressor but ended up getting one of the Milwaukee M12 small portable compressor since all I need it for right now is to top off my motorcycle and car tires. I might get a larger compressor later but honestly, my Milwaukee M18 1/2" impact puts out just as many ooga doogas as my HF 1/2'' air impact so don't really need one for home use. Don't plan on needing one for air nailers or anything either.

Super cool and easy to use, especially for the motorcycle tires. Nice to not have to rely on shitty gas station pumps, and ideal to check when tires are cold anyway.

If you plan to use it outdoors, I can vouch for the laser being hard to see.

I have the Bosche 30’, not as powerful BUT for inside use, the price is a lot easier to justify. At least for us DIYers that aren’t contractors. I think they are worth owning though.

Also have this one, which works great for wall and floor applications.

Got ya. Makes sense why no overhead. You could try the back wall for wood storage. Wide enough to hold most typical sizes.

For cheap lighting, look into just some clip lights at HD. Remove the clips and you can use them as hanging lights. Ours are almost the same size. Mines a bit narrower but more useable ceiling space.

I know you’ve seen the pix but look at the lights. They were super cheap and originally chosen as a temp fix until I ran power but they work great and I’ll probably just keep them.

Yeah I’ve debated a lean to on the high wall. It faces south so that would also allow me to keep the sun off the wall.

With that in mind, if you decide to sheet the inside walls or anything, ADD INSULATION. I did faux ship lap and refuse take it all down again. Might add pink foam to the outside.

Point is, it’s better to do it now then to try and do it later. Just adding the bubble stuff to the ceiling made a huge difference.

Honestly, out of all that....I call bullshit on the engine and trans being balanced. Ive never pulled an engine and trans and had them come out perfectly level

I have been on the other end when my Uncle passed away. After awhile help just dealing with the stuff is greatly appreciated. And by “dealing” I don’t mean just physically dealing with it. Finding an end to and a home for all the stuff is a relief. Today you helped them be able to “move on” with your kindness. They were just thanking you the best way they knew how. You did get a great deal today, but they received a better deal for themselves.
