    Good morning. Last Sunday 5 stand shoot at a club this morning an hour away from here. Still have 5 punches on my ticket so getting ready to burn them up. Now that Summer is pretty much officially over :eek:

    More than 20 years ago when I first retired from the Navy one of my first gigs was doing consulting work for Michelin North American HQ in Greenville, SC. Overall a great company and they liked my work. When the IT manager found out I was getting 1/8 of the money they paid the company I worked for he asked if I needed new tires. I did. They couldn't gift Michelin branded tires to me directly but at the time made the tires for Sears and they gave me 5 LTX tires for my Dakota. They were identical to the Michelin LTX tires.

    When I sold the Dakota they still looked great and had at least 70k on them think they had 50K warranty back then. And were a great tire really wish they still made them. I put Michelin on the Ex's vehicles and was never disappointed.

    The Michelin Man actually has a name, he is Mr. Bibendum or in Mr. Bib in English for short name.
