Yeah, the earlier gen ones I like too. But those are old and high mile enough that I would get it as a trail rig, not a daily. And I don't really want 2 vehicles.

2 vehicles is great! Until you have to get gas

Get a moped and then you wont be complaining. $2 to fill, and it will last 130+ miles

If Salt Lake drivers weren't totally garbage at driving, I would consider buying a dual sport like a KLR650 for work commuting and rowdy play time.

Truth, I would be terrified to commute on a bike around here. Just a bunch of ppl watching their phones while their car hopefully stays in the lane.

So I've decided that my preferred desert driving style is not good for my truck. Def accidentally sent it a little too much a few times this weekend. Bed shifted a tad and the bumper gaps are a little skewed. Decided I'm gonna take my bonus money and go find that first gen tundy I've lusted over for a while. There's a few pre-built ones that would do well too, and would save me some coin.

I mean, you DO have a 2 car garage. You're basically losing money by only having 1 truck in there.

Oh I’m sure the tundy is probably solid...I meant with your taco since the gaps are getting off.

Oh, I got ya. I think it is just the bed that skooched a bit. like the left side shifted forwards a little and the right stayed. The gap between the cab and the bed is a little narrower and the bed to bumper a little wider on the driver side. But it is uniform from top to bottom suggesting it was more yawing than linear forces

    Not much stock left.
Would you or did they drop a different engine in this? I’ve heard that people complained about the power plant in the early versions of the Tundy’s.

Of course, people say the same about the 3rd gen Tacos. I’ve not had any issues with the output. A turbo would be a nice bonus but don’t worry about it too much.
