Just wondering I received same side plastic housing in my recent puddle light order. Anyone else receive the same? I emailed Meso but didn’t hear back yet!

I think @MESO was moving his shop over the weekend, so he’s probably been beyond busy. I haven’t heard back from a PM I sent on Saturday yet myself, but I’m not worried. He’ll get to it, you can bet on that.

    Hey Guys,
Sorry for the MIA this weekend. I was remodeling a house(while moving in!) Plus packing up and moving MESO business to a new shop. Triple whammy.
I am going through all emails and PM's this morning and will get everyone taken care of.
    For guys that have 1 side puddle light working (and the other is not) it can only be 1 of 2 things;
    1)Defective LED pod
2)Bad(or mis-pinned) Puddle light harness.(10" or long door extension)

Because both lights go into a "Y" and essentially tie into the same wires, if 1 is working then the A pillar and T harness is working correctly.
Easy way to check is just to swap LED pods from 1 side to the other. That will rule out a LED or a harness very quickly.

Other then that, just be careful when yanking the harnesses through the tight door boot. I suggest going from the DOOR --->CAB because the connector on that end(female) is a lot smaller and easier to fish through.

Looking good guys! Thanks for supporting this mod. It was quite the project to put together, and I am still going though and revising small things to make it even better.

I ran into this problem with the Drivers side. Traced it back to the connector, one of the pin was out of the socket connector.

I’ve had my puddles since the first release. I had some condensation in one of mine, Meso sent a replacement quick.
Then I decided to take apart the one with the condensation. The light is 2 pieces, threaded together and came apart easily. I dried it out with a paper towel, then let it dry overnight. Then I applied a thin coat of silicone RTV to seal it along with its silicone O ring.
Since I go through an auto car wash with high pressure every week, my other original light got condensation a few weeks later. I put the one that I sealed in that spot and sealed the other ones with silicone RTV. No problems since.
I know Meso would have kept sending replacement lights if I would have asked, but this was an easy fast fix.
Just thought I’d let people know since there are so many puddle lights out there now.

I also put some silicone around the wire exiting the back of the light just in case that was where the water got in.

I checked my connections and everything seems fine. I did realize my auto down/up aren’t working for the driver or passenger side either. Any ideas to what I should be looking for?

    It's complicated.
Doesn't the window lock switch also prevent the driver from opening all the other windows too?

It’s not the window lock, my back windows work fine. The passenger window switch works fine as well.

Check the big connector for the power windows. I had two wire come loose in the harness.

If anyone is selling stock the plastic trim piece with the vortex fins on it that you take off when adding the puddle light mod, I am interested in buying them. Let me know whats a fair price. Thanks!
