    Still stock completely capable!
If you want 33” tires on a Tacoma you are either going to be cutting the cab mount (CMC) and hammering plastic. Or running skinny 33” tires. You can do 33” stock but you will be rubbing everywhere. When u turn when you hit a bump. If you lift you won’t be rubbing over bumps but will still rub when you turn. You can change ur Upper control arms but will still be rubbing. The only 2 ways to fit 33” tires is CMC and hammering or skinny tires. Sucks but that’s the truth.

Ah got cha. If I do a 3” lift with 33” mud terrains and keep the same UCA’s that came with the truck..I don’t mind cutting and hammering some to fit them

I don’t know what some people may say but you may want to change the UCA so that it allows more adjustments for proper alignment. Once you raise over 2” you may run into issues with suspensions geometry.

If that’s the case..does the Uni-Ball UCA give a better ride than the standard UCA?

I run 275-70-18 KO2s on 18x9 wheels with a 2" leveling kit on my 17 Sport. It rubs at full lock but otherwise is no problem. I do not know the offset on the wheels though. Hope that helps some.

I’m not the most knowledgeable but I think the coils, shocks and leaf springs have a much larger effect on quality of ride compared to UCA type.

Get 0mm offset wheels and melt a bit of plastic in your wheel well.

I’m going for the 4” lift kit...is it alright to use the front stock shocks after the kit is installed until I can get new ones? Back shocks are included with the kit.

I wanted wheels and tires badly before a lift, and 285/60/18 (31.5") fit with no rub on bumps or cornering. I would have to get back with you on my offset. Since then, I have a 3" lift, and looking to go 285/70/18 (a little over 33"). Just looking, doesnt look like there will be a problem

After having the ball joint cam installed backwards on LR UCAs, getting an alignment that came out at 0 degrees for caster, and then driving it around like that for a week, I can say for a fact that you "can" pass on replacing the UCAs.

I can also say, that it was not fun to drive like that. Without changing the UCAs the caster definitely drifts toward 0 and its very draining to drive like that. At 0 degrees I pretty much felt like steering required constant input. Now that it's at 4 degrees its wonderful and requires very little input on the highway. With all the shifting of the steering wheel it gets tiring.

Soo, if you want it to feel like a truck with a mind of its own, by all means, keep the stock UCAs. Otherwise, replace them, you'll be happier you did.
