Ah ok, thanks sorry I get lost in multiple comments haha. New to this "properly lifting" world and just want to make sure I get it all right.

From my own experience, I wish I would have done kings right out of the gate. I have OMEs on right now and my Kings are being built. I don't wheel that much but need a capable truck to get to the backcountry for other adventures. Most people think the "need" this and that but you really don't need much. Coilovers, rear shocks, UCAs, and an AAL or new leaf pack. I don't run armor or racks or a tent or any of that. The other thing that rarely gets mentioned in terms of "ride quality" is the tire choice. I run Cooper ST Maxxs, E load rating. They're awesome tires but they aren't as compliant as a C load rated tire, so keep that in mind as you build your truck. Compared to most of these guys on here, I'm probably a rookie but I've had Bilsteins on my '08 and now OMEs on my 2013, soon to be Kings. I've spoken with many vendors and I went with @state48overland. They don't try and upsell you on shit you don't need. Erick has been awesome to deal with and their local to me here in Phoenix. If you don't want to, or don't feel like you have the skills to install, they have friends with shops that will do the lift at a very reasonable cost. Anything you want, these guys can help you out.

How is this even a comparison? It’s like asking Gremlin or Ferrari ?

didn't read every post, sorry if this is a repeat, but if you're really bent on those two, to me it would depend on external res. or not. If you want/ need external res. shocks, then King for sure. OME just started making them in the past few years and they leak, like many people I know have them and they all leak. If not, I'd go OME. great quality springs and shocks, been making coilovers for decades.

however, if you're dropping King coin, read up on ADS. I run Icon remote res. now and in other 5-10k I'm going ADS for sure. They wrote a good white paper available on their site.
