When I stopped in Bracebridge for lunch yesterday, I noticed my brakes were making a loud screeching sound going forward (silent in reverse). Eventually the sound disappeared when I got back on the highway. Figure some dried mud or pebble got stuck between the rotor and backing plate. Gonna have to pull the rotors this weekend to check.

Other than that no issues. Throttle response on 3rd gen feels similar to 2nd gen in low range. There's better engine braking thanks to shorter 1st gear. Steering feels tighter on washboard surfaces as all the steering column rag joint slop in the earlier 2nd gens have been worked out.

    No,

He had hooked a safety line to the Jeep as the Jeep driver was worried about the mud and wanted to be tied off to a capable off-road vehicle.

I found your thread with a google search. Did you end up drilling the bolts out that hold the chain hoist when you relocated it, or do you remember what size it was? Mines pretty rusted

Hey everyone, I am trying to keep everything organized on the front page, so if you want an event that you hosted, or were apart of on the front page, let me know so I can add it.

@Krezz and @llamasmurf I just added your two events to the first page as a "memory" for 2019.

If I don't put something up its because I haven't had a chance or I missed it as this thread has been blowing up which is awesome, but makes it hard to follow....

Also, for discounted OF4WD memberships for 2020, hit up the page in my signature and add your name up. Deadline is Christmas time, so no rush.

Well, if you weren't out gallavanting around in used car parking lots on Sundays with Cooper, or cmc cutting for peeps, you'd have time for the administrative duties that we as a public demand for free...fvcking kids these days...

Reasonable attempt at a solution. Would it be possible to ask a moderator to insert a post as #2 then assign it to a member who can keep up with the correlation of activities...so the onus isn't on you for that side of the business.

You know, someone who is a real active enthusiast here in this sub-forum...but who has time cuz he doesn't really trail his truck much. I have an idea who that could be...

"We have a special place we made just for you, right over this way sir."
    "Just for me?"
"Yes, it may be a little cold on the way, here put this coat on"
"Why are the sleeves so long?" ...

Oh I'm not falling for that one again....

It’s just because we are tired of hearing how much @Norilsk misses you.

It’s getting sad. He is starting to hang out with the wrong crowd....jeeps
