I find it interesting how differently beers are treated in different parts of the country. Where I’m from in WV, Yuengling is widely considered nothing more than a small step above Budweiser. Most don’t like it because you can get many more Natty And Busch Lights for the price lol.

Cocoa Bolo from Burial. This is apparently one of their “OG” beers from when they first opened. I do know that the next brown ale I brew will have chocolate and coconut in it. This tastes just like coconut cream pie with some chocolate thrown in.

Pretty sure that’s my exes college friends brewery. Went there once with her and they had solid stuff. I may have even got to pour my own after hours but I cannot confirm or deny that due to legality issues.

I agree. But. You wait in lines (depending what time you go) just as long during week of logic than you would at one of these releases

Sunday brunch beer to shake the hangover and then a hockey beer tonight. Pina colada was solid juicy pulpy goodness, the hazy.....not so much. Not bad, but eh. It amazes me how many mediocre releases offshoot can keep putting out and stay in business.

Me and a buddy have been talking about making a trip there but I can’t justify just going for beer.

    Yet.

Because idiots like you keep buying their mediocre releases time and time again :boink: also cuz Bruery owns them would be a good guess.

There’s a place like that in Pittsburgh (Hitchhiker) that people go to in droves and it’s just BAD. I’ve had maybe two good beers from there and I’ve gone a half dozen times trying multiple tasters.

I don’t get the draw. Even a beer I posted a few weeks ago that I might pick up ended up getting thrashed by a few of my friends that are more forgiving than I am. But hey, I’m the dumb ass that doesn’t own a successful brewery, so what do I know.

First of all....wow. Who pissed in your wheaties? Second of all, as I said earlier, my buddy brought them. I've bought 2 releases from them, ever. Their first ever and a recent one they did with Noble that was one i tried before it was released.

I'm just amazed they havent gotten any better at them in like 2 years, when there's so much competition in the area. They're just the literal offshoot of The Bruery/Terreux, so it's not a major part of their business, but I guess some people are still buying them? I try a taster when im in the tasting room, but rarely ever buy a glass or anything...

No one pissed in my wheaties cuz I don't eat wheaties. Somebodies awfully defensive of Offshoot this morning.
You never said your buddy brought them :boink: if that's the case then stick "your friend" instead of you in to the people buying them lol. I think one of their first ones they did was alright, it was a yellow-ish can. Had it at Terreux, maybe bought a 4 pack.
