    :hattip: Good Morning

So tired from deboning caribou qtrs all day yesterday that I didn't make it to 9PM before I crashed...of course that means Bear woke me about 1AM wanting to go outside. He must be in on the "prep for return to mid-shift plan." So here I am at the workbench in garage planning what I'll try to get done today.

You too RJ. Are any of your group's planes kept outside on the ramp?

"Big blow" brought to mind the time we had a C17 jump chocks on an iced over ramp and move back about 6 feet. My young troops were in disbelief until I put it in the context of, "well, it's an airplane you know, with these big ass wings meant to lift it off the ground?"

    Morning

Race car back together (Elva) and loaded up...
Will be good to see the racing families again.

The “lightning truck” has a hitch. One of the parts for the blind spot monitor is on back order till
Oct. so sending it to the body shop for the repairs there. Then will more than likely be getting the truck back to the customer until parts are available. If these trucks weren’t so bullshit moronisized it would be fixed now. So will end up being about a ten grand repair I figure.. can’t check any other modules until I wake up the blind spot and then when I pull the bumper off I can check the park assist sensors..
Fixing a vehicle with one problem sometimes can be pretty involved.
Fixing one with 8 or 9 can be a whirlwind..
    Ye haaaa lol

Kinda like a boiler . There’s multiple steps. Don’t know if step 5 is bad if you can’t get past step 2

    Morning Mike.
So new truck does NOT have park assist or blind spot, but DOES have TSS and lane assist. I was skeptical until I used adaptive cruise control commuting on Glen Hwy...I gotta say that system works really well ... I'm a converted fan.

    Exactly.
Customers have no clue and rip on you relentlessly.
Insurance companies want a total price before you even start something like this.

Hand them the tools and see how they do.
    Kinda like .... naaaaaa
Not going to get on the soap box..

    Good Morning :oldglory:

Looks like it might be a nice day. Better then all the rain we had yesterday.
Bathroom project is moving along. Painting is done. Shower walls get installed today. Flooring people come Thursday.

Hard to argue, I see it at work in the young troops all the time.

...but I truly was surprised how well the adaptive cruise control works. I'm not completely anti-tech. A few applications are worthwhile, I think this is one I like for the convenience of not having to brake and resume manually. :notsure:

    Guilty as charged.

Yea like the “purchaser” (glorified gopher) said I should’ve got an estimate to repair a broken 2” gas line that was coincidental broken after area was mowed but nobody said anything. How do you give an estimate for something you can’t see underground? :boom:

    Good morning. Ugh.

Yes sir, a system is a system. We used to have red manuals in the Engine and Fire (Boiler) rooms with step by step actions to take. ECCS - Engineering Casualty Control Systems. Knew the steps by heart after enough years but if an inspection team was on board looking over your shoulder still took them out and used a grease marker to line the steps one by one.
