scion xb seat swap/ 3rd gen 4 runner swap in progress
Owned.my 04 prerunner for about 5 months now and its giving me a hard time. The seats.have no support and I get tossed around feeling because of the short wheelbase? Tires are at correct psi, previous owner replaced leaf springs, and quick strut in the front end. I get lower tailbone/right hip pain. Anyone else?

Do you drive around with anything in your back pockets?

But yeah, the first gen seats have a lot to be desired.

I'm not a fan of the 60/40 seats in my '00 SR5. It almost feels as if they were built to the wrong proportions, because I have to scooch around and constantly make adjustments to find comfort, even on short trips. I don't think it's my body because I've always fit well into the seats of other vehicles I've owned. I could drive across the country in my Mustang and never make a single adjustment to the seat.

I want to make the switch to Corbeau buckets but don't have the budget for it right now.

if the part was available to fix my driver seat it would be $1000 ($1k) the local parts dept told me
do you want more for those or one of them?

if the driver sub-frame assembly is not broken then I have not much alternatives!
i cannot find parts, don't wish to go aftermarket necessarily you know, i just want my chit fixed as new and they refuse to help me out!

i will most likely move the upholstery and cushion over from mine, since i have a tad different shade of gray/blue (i think)
do you want $500 for them both? is that too high?

middle of winter here it can be 0 zero or less brrrrr, lower 20s is my favorite, tshirt and sock footed outside no problemo!
do you have some more detailed pics of what is under the seats, frame assembly, springs etc.
just would like to make sure it looks in same condition as mine :) ... i saw some icky flood damaged t4r seats from Kansas they wanted $90 for crusty ick

the real DISCOMFORT gets into the single digits, especially if there is a wind from the north
