    my rear diff is howling out the back of my 96 taco ext cab 2.4L . im off to the yards to pick up a used one. what models can i pull one from and have it the correct gearing for my truck? will a base short bed diff work? thanks in advance

    You're going to have to read the diff code on the door jam to insure you get the same gearing.

    any clarification would be helpful. ive got one shot at this and cant afford to get it wrong. is W59 the correct number and how would i correlate that to the chart? can the number be found on the rear end itself?

    I believe this can also be cross referenced with some 6 lug models as well.
