Anyone that is on the "fence" with the Switch Pro 9100......

    BUY IT!

    Simply purchase it!

Just call their number and if they are not around.....BOOM they will give you a call back!

As a retired military guy, small business owner, Corporate business for a side job......

    Simply call them. Period dot!

I challenge you all to find a better set of folks that "eat, sleep, REPEAT"......

Their tech support is hella good too! I have an issue with mine and they have spent several hours on the phone with me trying to fix the issue. I talked to CS, the CS manager, their head engineer. I think I know the whole shop by now.

    Here's my install.

Took a lot longer than anticipated but that's what happens when you go OCD on the wiring and wire management.

I’d much rather be OCD and do it right the first time than be chasing gremlins for the rest of time

Also I’m stealing your under hood light idea

Good luck routing the wire between the hood skin and frame and fishing the end out of the hole in the bottom right of the hood. I used some 16awg silicone wire and sleeved it for extra protection, the sleeve made it alot easier to route too.

Ours does the same thing, though it's highly intermittent. When I first noticed the problem, the install was only about two weeks old, so I doubt it has anything to do with corrosion. Since we returned from our trip where I noticed it happening I haven't noticed it happen again, so I've been lazy and haven't contacted Switch Pros.

I took my unit to switch pros and had them test it, turns out my blue ignition wire was just "open" and no continuity was coming through from the power module through the wire. They said its very rare that it happens, but it does. They replaced it and I am a happy customer again.

This is probably the same issue I have been trying to correct with switchpros. They are really doing well and want me to send it in, then it works for a few weeks and I don't bother, then it will again and I think about it. Once we are done with offroad and race season, I think I'll finally tear it all out and send it in for diagnostics.

Did yours continue to work when connected to the app? It's not a real big deal to me as long as we don't completely lose function.

yes it did. It just got annoying to me because I have a dedicated switch to it and connecting to the phone took way too long. If my phone locked as well I would have to boot up the app again, just too much of a hassle.

Any details or photos on how you mounted the switch panel? I was looking at doing something similar.

I just cut out the templete in the instructions and stuck it on with some tape, marked the holes and drilled them out. Don't forget to remove the overhead console as well. If you mount it as low as mine, there is some metal near the bottom by the bend, I think you can avoid the metal if you mount it higher but I can't confirm that. After the holes are drilled, install the panel, and use the supplied mounting hardware.

+3 I also purchased mine from them. They definitely had the best pricing out the door.

Thanks! I don't have the sunroof, so my configuration may be slightly different.

This is another mounting option but you need to order the panel through MESO Customs and they never seem to be in stock.SP mounted.jpg

I mounted mine in the same place. Just pull the overhead console, tape the template and start drilling.

I did lay down a tarp to catch all the crap and not make a huge mess.
