I am getting new Michelins for my car. My daughter needs tires. How can I know if my old tires (10k miles) will be good on her Mazda SUV? They both have 17" tires.

17" is the size of the wheel, but what is the size of the tire? I can't think of a Mazda SUV that would be able to accept a high sidewall profile tire like on the Tacoma.

not from a Tacoma, SUV to a different brand SUV. If hers is also a 17" wheel how can I find out if her auto will accept my tires, both mid-size SUV's maybe 2 years newer (mine)

You have to look at the actual tire size. It will be in the sidewall of the tires and look something like "P225/60R17" or similar.

The donor tire is a Kumho Crugen 235/65R17 from an SUV. The receiving car will be a Mazda 5 SUV. IF the receiving cars (Mazda5 SUV)current tires are 17: how do I know if the donor tires can replace the current tires of the receiving car?

you can look at the sticker inside the driver door for tire info, or your manual. your Mazda, you figure out what it needs.

What is the tire size on the Mazda now? Is it a Mazda CX-5? If so, the only factory tire size I see listed for a 17" wheel is 225/65R17, but you need to actually look at the tires on her Mazda to see if they are. If it is 225/65R17, then the 235/65R17's will probably fit, but will be about 1/2" taller and 1/2" wider.
