Had the V3's which isn't made anymore so I had to upgrade to the V6 Tritons. They were just outside the 3 year warranty period.
Hat's off to Vled for giving me quite a large discount on another set for my troubles.
I just put in the one side. The Amber turn signal still worked just fine. The 6000K running light is what croaked.

I think it sounds pretty good for a factory set up. Its better than the Bose in my wife's Suburban, but if she had a sub it would be comparable.

Thankfully I didn't really pay for it, because I bought it used.

Exactly this August, I've been driving Tacoma for 10 years.
And every day, I'm driving my truck with just as much pleasure and fun.
The best truck I ever owned since 1980

Have you had any issues with your tritons before? Im kinda disappointed in mine tbh. Had the dtrl switchbacks, had multiple problems with them. Got them to replace them under the lifetime warranty (which they said was now no good since they discontinued the ones i had). They told me i could pay to upgrade or not pay anything and the warranty would be gone after the replacement. I dished out the big bucks because these had a "lifetime warranty" and that bit me in the rear. Going with good old incandescent bulbs when these take a dump

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with the Tritons. As for me this is the 1st and only problem in about 3.5 years. Been happy with them so far.

Maybe i just got a bad batch. I kept having issues with one bulb being dimmer than the other. Either way, water under the bridge. Glad your experience was better!

If you are running V3 on one side and V6 on the other could you send me some pics comparing the output?

Same here. I've had my V3's for 4.5 years and only had 1 issue when the DRLs would flash at weird intervals. That was driver induced though as it started happening immediately after I hit a large mud puddle at speed when wheeling and I imagine it forced water somewhere. The V3s started working fine a few weeks later.

Sure. Basically they're identical in output. Both 6000K in temperature. V3's run a Cree chip where the V6's run a Philips chip that supposedly runs cooler.
The only difference is in the time delay in the switchback to the White DL from the Amber turn signal. The V3's blink Amber, When canceled turn solid Amber, then turn solid White about 1 second later. The V6's blink Amber, When canceled turn solid Amber, go out then turn solid White about 0.5 second later.

I wanted this 3d printed for my grill but settled for a vinyl decal on the side. Just another thing on the truck for people to wonder what the fuck it is. downloadfile.jpg IMG_20190827_123012-01.jpg

Killed my battery last week leaving the ignition turned one click and the fan ran allllllll day.
Tried to revive it by toping it up with distilled water and using my smart charger on it to no avail.
Turns out I had the original battery from 2005( Panasonic made in Japan).
Got a Autocraft Platinum AGM 24F 70ah for $166.34 after %25 online coupon and core return.
So now I got 70ah agm under the hood and 120ah agm behind the passenger seat running my stereo system.
