Finally pull the chin strap off of my 2019 Sport. I think it looks much better without it. Don’t know why I waited so long to do this. Now I think I would like to replace the skid pan with the Pro one. I don’t really need this but the want may out weigh the need.

Looks like someone might need one of these (TJM rear bumper) and these (replacement tail lights)

Snagged this Yak basket off of facebook marketplace, had the crossbars laying around from my old truck. Should work OK until I can get a shell. It's just a little low to fit my fridge under on it's slide, got a solution for that bouncing around my head that should work.

I wanted something similar to the stock design so I purchased a Fab Four TT16-W3650-1 rear bumper. The TJM does look nice though.

I did remove the V6 emblem. Tail lights are on my list!
The recovery hook is pointed down because if it was hook side up, I would probably end up stepping on it.

Winterized my truck today. Installed block heater, pan heater, and battery pad heater. Almost all set for below 40 condition in Alaska, I just need the remote start from N2designs and I will be golden.

Always lived in California by the ocean. Can’t imagine living in that low of temperature. Happy to know that with some modification the Tacoma can cut it.

That Fab Four looks nice too, but I'd personally have to pass because of the logo on the side.

I actually purchased the TJM, but promptly canceled the order after learning about the 2018-2019 BSM radar located in the bumper. Although, I'm actually reconsidering ordering the TJM...I'd like to cut a hole for the BSM radar and cover it with a curved piece of plastic. THis may take care of the BSM/aftermarket bumper issues that C4 Fab had (here)

By the way, how did you rip the corner piece off? This should be a standard, for everyone who rips the corner off, ya'll need to explain how it happened... (so we don't do the same!)

Well, I am hoping that it will. I am still down here in California about to PCS to Eielson AFB in December. Still not sure whether I should also do the transmission heater. I asked the dealer about trans oil and they said its full synthetic, so maybe I don't need a heater on it?

Do you have pictures? I’ve been thinking about doing white letters out when I pull the trigger on new tires.

I completely agree with you about looks of the Fab Four and their logo. They aren't the only ones, especially with front skid plates!

The bumper damage was all about the approach and departure angles! And my friend in a Rubicon kept reminding me...... But my Taco didn't break down like his Rubicon did----different story!

We were off-roading in Arizona east of the Colorado River in an area known as KOFA. We came down a steep sand and gravel type trail and into a wash. We crossed the wash and the trail continued up a very steep uphill trail (ravine). I took the uphill trail at an angle. I had no problem with the front of the Taco making it, and figured I might rub a little on the right rear portion of the bumper, based on the way I angled the truck going up the incline. Well, I rubbed a lot for that poor plastic bumper! After dragging the right rear, I could hear something dragging as I continued driving. A little duct tape took care of the problem until we stopped and I removed the damaged portion of the bumper.

I had BFG AT 265/75/16's at the time, which provided a little more ground clearance over stock. A Gen 2 Taco did good, but they have a different bumper. But he broke off his trailer light connector on a different run! He is running 285's.
