    3" Rough Country Lift
Greetings! I'm an excited first-time Tacoma owner. I just purchased a new 2019 TRD Off-Road, DC/LB, and I could not be happier with this truck. I had my dealer install a 3"/2" Rough Country lift immediately. It looks great and balances out the truck nicely. I will be installing wheels and tires next. I'm a big fan of the BFG KO2s as I run them on my trusty old 3/4-ton 2500HD and they perform flawlessly here in Alaska. I will likely go 285/70/R17 (32.8" diameter, Load Range C to lighten the tire a bit) on a 17" x 9" wheel with a -12mm offset (4.5" backspacing). I am looking to widen my stance. I'm also going with a full-size spare and will be doing a 5-tire rotation. Based on what I have researched on this forum and in talking with the local dealer, this configuration should not rub. Anyone have a similar setup? Thanks to all who share their knowledge on this forum. The amount of information here is amazing!

:hattip: Welcome to TW and Alaska.

Just a heads up, I don't know about what improvements were made from KO to KO2s, but 7 yrs ago my son ran KOs on a half-ton Chevy...they performed flawlessly in every application except plowed snow packed or icy roads ... on them they were slicker than snot. Personally, he and I both run 2 sets of tires, dedicated Winter and Summer. Pricey, but worth it, like insurance. Just my 2¢ FWIW.

EDIT: I hear GY Duratracs perform well in a severe Winter environment. :notsure:
