So I've compiled a big enough list of mods I decided to make a build page to share. No big lift yet & this is my daily driver so I've really just concentrated on making the truck better in the lighting dept & over all looks & functionality. USR LED mirror lights with DRL's - I am very impressed with the light output of these over the factory lights & the DRL feature is just awesome!

Here is an install video of the mirror lights. Installing the lights is an easy 5 minutes each side. Pop off the painted cover, 2 screws, 1 connector & pop the cover back on.

On the DRL wiring make sure you reserve yourself enough time (probably 2hrs - 1 day depending on your skills) & take your time fishing the wiring through.

I decided to do a front camera & chose the Car Solutions system. I am super impressed with the functionality & view I got with this setup both daytime & nighttime is great.

Daytime



Nighttime - In front of my garage with headlights off & outside light on. You can see through the windshield that it's really pretty dark out but looks good through the camera. Very impressive!

 

For a lil more light I decided to make my nonfunctional hood scoop useful & got an inexpensive 11" LED light from eBay. After I ordered it I found out I could get a wireless remote with a receiver so I got that also. All in I spent around $50 but was super easy to install. The light is 80W & comes with battery +/- leads, an inline fuse & a 40A relay all in the harness. It does comes with a switch but I didn't use it.

Added some 3M VHT tape to the bottom

Hole drilled to route wiring through & put in a rubber grommet to help seal the hole

Barely noticable!

Almost could be used as a DRL


Good amount of light output. This 11" bar has both spot & flood bowls
