So not long ago I had my break pads and rotors replaced and almost immediately after I started to have a few issues that to me seem unrelated to brakes but I feel were a result of the brakes and rotors being replaced. First my shifter randomly gets locked in park which makes me think I have one or two bad shift solenoids, the other problem is randomly the VSC off indicator as well as ABS will simultaneously turn on. Maybe it's all unrelated but the timing is too coincidental. Any help on possible solutions would be great before I start spending more money then I need too.

The next time it won't shift out of park, have someone look at your brake lights. It could be as simple as a bad brake light switch. Could also be a bad connection at the brake light fuse. Some cheap Chinese fuses have thinner metal.
