went through carwash this morning and halfway through, the interior lights came on. I have to move the switch to off to get the lights to turn off. I’ve opened and shut all 4 doors to see if the car wash tripped something in one of the door sensors; but that didn’t fix it. Any ideas?

Maybe pop it out and see if any of the connections look wonky or the wires into the harness?
A good yank around all 4 corners will pop it out.

Did it happen when the large overhead dryers were blowing at the end? Bet something knocked loose and grounded.

Seems like people have issues anytime they go through an automatic car wash. ‍♂️ I second going around to all 4 push switches in the door jams.

A couple of members have reported this issue here in a couple of different threads myself included. No remedy as of yet happens to me but only after a heavy rain the lights will go on and I have to use the dome switch to turn them off after the truck dries off everything is okay again. Some guys are blaming led lighting but I don’t think that is it as the dome is a negative trigger so something is making ground like water could. One member did go to the dealer under warranty and they replaced the entire overhead console and according to him that fixed the issue saying the circuit board was no good.

Thanks for all the replies! Tried the suggestions, but nothing worked. Came out to the truck this morning and it was fixed. Strange.
