Trying to change out all the other fluids on the taco.

    The manual says I need...
API GL-4 or GL-5 SAE 75W90 gear oil for manual/transfer
API GL-5 SAE 75W-90 hypoid gear oil for front diff
API GL-5 SAE hypoid gear oil for rear diff

I did my rounds on TW and believe I should use…
    Rear Diff - Redline 75W90NS
    Front Diff - Redline 75W90
    Transfer Case - Redline MT-90 75W90
    Transmission - Redline MT-90 75W90

As far as the parts needed..
Would this kit cover me on both differentials and the transfer case?
    And this for the tranny?

Also would this shit be good for the propeller shaft lube? The guys over at bobistheoilguy hyped it pretty hard.

Please let me know if I am on crack/have any suggestions.

    Looks good to me

    Few tips -

Remove the fill plug on the diffs, t-case and transmission before removing the drain plug. You don't want to drain them and then realize the fill plug is stuck on or stripped.

With the front diff, the fill plug I believe is a hex key plug, and it is very easy to strip. Make sure you clean the dirt and road grime out of it before attempting to break it loose or it will strip on you (been there done that).

While changing your transmission fluid consider dropping the pan and changing the filter screen.

Per what the OP posted, he has a manual and not an automatic transmission.

Everything looks good IMO. Note that you can use the same oil in both front and rear diffs. I went with the regular Redline 75w90 on each end of my truck and it works just fine still. I do have the rear e-locker as well.

As far as grease goes, I personally use general purpose marine grease on anything with a grease fitting. Probably unnecessary but if it’s tough enough for saltwater trailer bearings, commercial boat winches and outdrives, it can’t hurt sitting in my ball and ujoints....

    Any recommendations for marine grease?

Do you think the LS Redline version would be worth it in the rear diff? or just go with the normal 75W90 in both? Would it make nay difference?

I am impressed you plan to buy new crush washers instead of tightening the shit out of the old ones.
Tighten the oil plugs with new washers only 1/2 to 3/4 turn past finger tight...kind of like an oil filter.
There is virtually no mechanical load or high vibration on the plugs. They won't come loose.

I read a bunch of TW threads and there was one guy in the responses that recommend it. I figured buying a crush washer is better than never being able to get it off.

I don't even know what the LS Redline version is. I used the normal 75w90 that you linked in your first post in both diffs on my truck.

    This stuff

Redline 75w90 as everyone mentions is good for the crunchy taco. I've had it in there for many years. Still looks brand new!

Ive had Valvoline Conventional 75w90 in the rear and front diffs for awhile now. No problems. I plan on using it in the transfer case and MT90 in the trans at the next change. New gaskets for all, torqued to spec.

If you are interested in saving a few bucks I just used the Supertech brand from walmart in both my front and rear diffs and so far so good I haven't had any problems

Since we are on fluid topic. Please choose an ATF fluid for me. I want to do the “drain, fill, drive, drain and change filter” thingie this weekend. Anything but Toyota ATF please. Also, roughly how much do they hold. Thank you

+1 for using salt water marine rated high temp grease. It sticks like snot and doesn't wash out.
