    Hey guys, that
    $7 Toyota Breather Plug - 90930-03136
    90930-03136 PLUG, BREATHER part is NOT the same as the stock breather (and they list it as Toyoya, not Toyota). The stock breather has an actual valve that requires at least some pressure for it to open. This listed part is just a completely open tube with a crimped cap over it, no valve at all. I bought it and actually disassembled it to see, and compared it with the stock breather.

    It should still work fine as long as you locate it somewhere high where water can't get to it -- as long as it doesn't get submerged, should be fine.

    Personally, I went with a small engine breather filter and located it up behind the left tail light.
