The FML Thread...

That qualifies.

 

Family vacation, two vehicles, wife and daughter with me and parents following in their Camry, meeting my brother and his fiancé at destination. We leave at the crack of dawn, ten hour drive ahead of us.

Twenty minutes, we don’t even manage to get out of our own parish (county everywhere else but Louisiana) we hit a 4x4 post left sitting in the road and egg a tire. At 4:30 AM. Tire shops don’t open till 7, and we’re back on the road by 8.

3.5 hours behind schedule and almost $200 later. ‍♂️

 

Somethings like in this instance im thankful i didnt have to deal with that with my mom. Nurses are a special breed of person capable of dealing with that without flinching

 

It all started in April of 1966...

 

My niece was working as a CNA at nursing facility and the old men sometimes would “whip it out” to see ifen they could get a reaction from the young ladies. One of the guys did that to my niece. She told him to put it away or she’ll take out her knife, cut it off and throw it in the trash. He never did that to her again.

CNA = cleanin nasty asses

 

Had my girl bent over from behind. Rammed it. Filled it up as I was told to. Ended up with a son with a girl I was just banging at the time. Now been together 4 years

 

One day, after buying a 3rd gen Tacoma... I joined a site called Tacoma World...

The tranny rebuild was for my 03 celica. Took a shit at only 75000 miles. Crappy 7th gen

 

Then 2100.00 is looking like a damn good price vs the alternatives.

 

When you realize you should have checked first, only later to find 3 or 4 pairs of pants full of shit, now rehydrated in your washer, requiring you to remove it all, take it out to the driveway and use the hose to wash away as much as you can while you try to sanitize your washer or debate just throwing it away, then finally finishing the wash, because after all, she is your Mom and you will do anything for her

Ehhh it's just money. Some of these other guys are dealing with some heavy shit.

 

Sad part of that story is LPNs, RNs, and even the occasional NP will still have to wipe some old ass. It really pays to be a doc in that profession because of these moments alone, I never envy my girls job.
