I just bought a used 2007 Tacoma 4 door, 4x4 and the a/c fan is currently not working. The man I bought it from said "sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't". Has anyone had this trouble and how can I fix it? Thanks

    Likely needs replacement.

Try hitting under the glove box with your hand with the fan selected on. If it starts, its the motor.

The one in my 07 died at about 150K. I could have probably done it myself, but i have a mechanic I like with reasonable rates. Seems like it was about $200 total for parts and labor.

Thanks to everyone who welcomed me to this site and to the two responses I have received to my problem. Are there any more suggestions out there? Could it be just a loose connection or a short in a wire? Thanks
