We have a 140 inch wheelbase with the DBL Cab LB vs the 137 inch wheelbase of the Gladiator. Lots of guys on here with the 6 foot box hitting the backcountry.

And 5’ or 6’1” of cargo length, or even more with the tailgate down versus 3 feet or so to store the dirty stuff.
A truck bed is a wonderful thing.

My cousin still has her Jeep pickup truck she bought used decades ago. It looks like a pickup truck. This looks like a Wrangler they added a bed to.

These Jeep trucks are like the women you see on dating sites. Without the right angle or a filter, they just don’t look that good.

I learned to drive in a old CJ. I've got plenty of off road experience with the military. Neither my dbl cab long bed or this Gladiator is going to off road like regular wheel base vehicle. It's simple physics, you will high center
    you will get stuck.

Totally agree, but these trucks will go most places. Just skip the hard core stuff

Install a 6" lift with Currie Rock jock axles and 42" IROK tires and the Gladiator will look much better

I think that Toyota should’ve stretched all the trims onto the regular cab. A TRD V6 6 lug regular cab would be badass to own

    Here’s a custom one:

I like how people complain about the price.
For $43k and some change, you can get a base model Rubicon. Lol.

I can't understand why so many people on here complain how a vehicle like the Gladiator looks in stock form . Any brand new unmodified vehicle looks bland / boring in stock form

This is why you modify your vehicle to suit your taste and how you're going to use it . If I had the $$$$$$ I'd buy a Gladiator and build like I mentioned I my previous post maybe even Hellcat swap . Then I'd take it on hardcore double black diamond trails and not cry or complain if I dented the body panels

Totally agree woth you, all those poeple complaining should take a look at some of the tacomas they are selling, some are pretty damn ugly when in stock form. And the good looking more good looking ones like the trd pro are 50k tucks now. And still doesnt come with a damn front locker or decent off road tires. I guess im trying to say that so many people complaining not many have had a jeep or tried the gladiator. Jeeps are more of a lifestyle vehicule not so much to work but for those who have to choose a truck and would like a jeep its now nice to have that option available to us just hope the price goes down or maybe it will when used. Maybe find one that some grocery getter had lol

If it scares vegans and doesn't randomly cross the median, I'm OK with someone else wasting their own money on it.

This looks like it'll scare vegans. So there's that.
