Have a 19 Taco plagued with vibration issues and the rumble strip vibration when slowing.

Do you guys know if these are affected at all?

Thinking of trading in my taco for a 4runner.

    Thank you

I have a ‘19 4Runner, no vibration issues at all in 7k miles.

Have an '18 and have spent a ton of time on the dedicated T4R forums, only vibration issues seem to be when people start modifying their suspension and something doesn't go as planned

About 14k fairly rough miles on my ‘18 and zero issues or complaints. They drive much better than the Tacoma

Agreed. I purchased mine Saturday. Love it.

I am however having slight brake pedal pulsation while braking, and a steering wheel wobble at 60mph that seems to be common in the 5th gens.

    Can't catch a break I guess.

But even with these issues, it's a lot more enjoyable to drive than my Taco. Engine and transmission is super smooth.

Hoping its an easy fix. The wobble goes away when the tires warm up.

Most likely a tire issue. I ran KO2s for about 10k and they would never balance. I just traded them back in towards some ST MAXX and it’s driving perfect

    Yeah I am hoping.

I took it to my buddies tire shop today. He road forced balance one tire and it was slightly off, the second one was out of round he said. Unfortunately his machine went down and couldn't compete the balance.

I will go back when hes get it's working again and get a full report from him and take it and show it to Toyota dealership.

You should be able to get Toyota to warranty a tire if it’s bad or just upgrade them

Yup, once I get the full report from my buddy I will.

How are the brakes on yours? I get a slight pulsation and also the brakes seem to be horrible in general.

I honestly have no complaints about the vehicle. It doesn’t live the easiest life and has been flawless

Issues I've had with my Taco Pro was noise coming from passenger pillar rubbing on dash. It was a easy and quick fix. The other issue was my AC noise, which is currently at the dealership getting replaced and still making noise. I've been checking on the 3rd brake light, a lot of people had issues with water leaks.

Hope my new 19 4Runner Pro has less issues. I don't think I've ever own a new or newer car that didn't have some sort of problem.

you have an off-road, the pulsation you describe, is it just the momentary buzz when applying? The off-road and pro have crawl control, so there is a slight buzzy feel in the brakes occasionally -it's the brake booster. the 3rd gen Tacoma I had did the same, but it was much more pronounced. the t4r is quite muted compared to the Tacoma.

Just traded my 19 Taco for the exact reason. Bad vibration at low speeds. Dealer performed TSB which was stiffer leaf springs and steering damper...it was 100x worse. Can't believe they even let the truck leave the lot like that.

4Runner is light years better IMO. Drives smoother and rides better. Powertrain is a better combo, no more fall-on-your-face shifting for no reason. Better torque so it actually holds a gear. Premium interior is higher quality. Hoping to keep the 4runner for awhile. Was not impressed with the taco.
