    Hey guys! Sorry to bug but a few days ago i saw a thread for turning of your TPMS light and I cannot find it anymore. Anyone have the link or brief explanation?

    Mine has been on for years. I'd think something was wrong if it went off, lol. Last time I got tires, they offered to reset it for $50. I said no.

    Don't turn off the light. Replace the sensors. The batteries die after 10-12 years. A new set can be had pretty reasonably and it is cheap insurance every 10 years or so. I don't know which model truck you have, but these fit mine.

    They are there for a reason. They are designed to warn you if you have a sudden tire deflation at speed. If you hit a piece of road debris and puncture a tire the light will give you 30 seconds or so warning before the tire comes apart at 75 mph. Gives you a chance to slow down and get to the side of the road. I've BTDT. Probably saved my life.
