    The TRS ones just look like they pried apart a bulb to use the base. MESOs do seem more compact you’re right.

    I know that not everyone is not following this thread closely, nor is every single purchaser on the forums, but if you ordered your housing w/lights please be on the lookout for an email from me titled "MESO 3rd brake Light Selections" (Check your SPAM folder). If not yet completed, please be sure to fill out your form in that email ASAP to designate light selections!

    I plan on sending out the first blast of orders early this next week (waiting on some packing materials to show up), and the final volley should go out early the following week so I want to make sure I have the proper stock on hand!

    Additionally, if you ordered one of the KC or BD light setups and did not check the box to add lights to your order and have not yet sourced your lights send me a PM for a chance to still capture a great deal on your setup!

    The pigtails are not used for 3rd gens. There is just 3 wires- ground, brake light, and cargo light.
    The KC lights just have one black and one red. All reds from the KC brake lights are connected together then to the purple wire, all reds from the KC cargo lights are connected together then to the green wire, and all the blacks are connected together to the white/black ground wire.

    Looks like @PapaRee helped ya out there! It's all about just marrying up colors. We were working on attempting a full plug-and-play solution, but the R&D for the opposing plug was going to be hilarious for a limited run product like this.

    Are you comfortable with splicing/crimping wires?

    Have not seen many install info on the 2nd gen’s, but the new housing from meso just installs over the back of the exsisting housing, minus the red lens? Am only going by @74cam install pics. So there are no bare wires to grab like the 3rd gens? Correct?
