So I was a slacker and slept most of the day away.
Found out that my spare tire mount dosent seam to let the tire down as far as it use to. Umm it could be from the lift . But I seam to remember it going down further.
And now I'm going to pic whore my new tires.
    Old vs new.

I bought some spray plasti dip from autozone or homedepo . I taped out where I thought it would look good and covered the rest with newspaper and sprayed a bunch of coats. And I just add a new coat whenever it starts looking ruff.
If I were to do it over again I'd make sure and pull the tape right after spraying some of my edges are a little ruff. But it looks ok from a couple of feet away.
Or go with a vinyl from crawlarado ( spl??) . My only problem with there's is I don't think that it's big enough. http://crawlorado.com/ocart/index.php?route=product/product&path=62_64&product_id=62
    But man it looks good.

    So updates I guess.
I cleaned up the throttle body. And replaces my throttle position sensor. I kept getting the code . I believe that it was a high idle on start up.
I used this guy.Plastic Party Favor Bags Assorted... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00736D76S?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
And I bought this to help with the job.Vessel Megadora 900 +2x100 JIS... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000TG8OTY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
To use on the special screws. It kinda worked. I was able to get the throttle position sensor off ok but when I tryed to remove the iac. I ended up stripping the last bolt, so that didn't happen. So I cleaned it up as best I could put it all back together and that seemed to resolve my issues. Although my idle is a little higher. So this was all so that I could go wheeling without any issues. Except that my exterior door handle broke right as I was about to leave.
    Arizona is a pretty state.

Fixed my exterior door hande. Broke the Interior door handle in the process. Got a used one when I picked up some seats.
20190819_142507.jpg not sure if I'm going to put them in the taco or this

Got it for my son. It needs some work but it's a decent foundation and it should be a fun project.

Well I think that gets me up to date on the my progress.
Still haven't installed the new wheels. I've been thinking about selling them and getting a set with less backspacing.
I'm going to finally have some time off this month so the plan is to get the new wheels installed which means beating the hell out of my wheel wells.
Get my bussman box installed and hopefully get some of the crap that I've been collecting installed that's been waiting for it to be put in first.
Also I'm waiting on my motor and trans mounts to get built and delivered.

Well after much beating/massaging with the sleg. I finally was able to get the tires mounted. My oldest boy came over and took turns hammering with me.it was a lot of beating, putting the tire back on and cycling the suspension and the beating some more. My dead pedal is now kinda misshapen. But they rid well and dont rub at full bump with the tires turned. I was worried about need a axle relocation kit for the back but there doesn't seem to be a issue.
    So the rims are 17" x 9 with a 3.5" -38mm offset ray 10's. On Yokohama my 285 70 17.
    20190917_200329.jpg 20190917_200359.jpg
And I made a decent dent on installing new silicon hoses. 20190917_194053.jpg
Hopefully I can get more done tomorrow . Last day off.

Truck looks great on those wheels and tires man! What is the actual tire height{like how many inches from ground to top of tire}?

I really like your vac lines. Makes everything easy to see. I’m gonna have to copy that too! I ordered the LED reverse lights you posted about installing. Great find!

Thanks man. I can't really take credit for them I saw them on someone else's post but I don't rember who. The lines are pretty nice. I got the extra length of 8mm but I'm not sure if it was necessary. I'm gonna pull my throttle body and get the ones under it. It was pretty easy to do otherwise.
The tires are 285 70 17. I'm gonna take a actual measurement To see how tall they are.

So it's been a second. Finally down to 1 job. But I started up school. So I have a little bit more time available. Took about a month to catch up on sleep.

Was busy working on the kids 4runner. Pretty much rebuild the whole suspension. Have a couple parts left to do but I'm tired for dumping money and time into it. Hopefully he doesn't wreck it. It's his first car and he's a new driver.
OME coils front and rear. Bilistine shocks front and rear. Extend break lines. Dornan steel rear lower control arms and track bar.new/rebuild cv it's. Put in better condition front seats. And did the vacuum hoses.new inner and outer tierods. New swaybar bushings and links.20200204_182610.jpg

So went wheeling. New tires are pretty awesome. They like to dig in the wash sand/gravel.but they climb up and over everything else without much if any tire spin.
