Is it on otherwise restricted land? I guess I'm confused by their statement

"Paper maps to dirt roads, mild trails, hiking trails, country stores, and other local activities will be provided for your use on Saturday as you choose your own local adventure"

theyre taking over a farm, and using their land. I'm guessing there are a few difficult bits (trail classes). but looks like a lot of fun.. and If I can do it with my nearly stock Tacoma.. I'm game...

Base camp will be on a farm that is being rented. I'm pretty sure they're just providing maps with the class vi roads in the area that they have prerun. The idea is that everyone can come and go with their own groups of people rather than trying to lead 40 people all together.

Just read through the whole thing. Guess it's not so bad for those traveling and staying there, and then getting dinner there on top of it. Hopefully everyone has fun and getstlmeet some cool people.

trying to get my wheels and tires in order for the trip.. have rims showing up wednesday, and ordered the tires today.. method racing MR305 NV 17x8.5 0 offset with some goodyear Wrangler Duratracs, 265/70/17 31.6" 1" diameter height difference, and about 8lbs heavier per tire than the 265/65/16 Yokohama Geolandar AT's I have now... dont have a lift, but according to all I've read they should fit, only part that has me worried is the offset causing rub at full lock.. probably some trimming, and remove the mud flaps at least in the front.

I run the same wheels and have the same size tires, never had any issues when I was stock height.

good to hear, I got one of the 4 rims the other day, other 3 should arrive today... I am amazed at the quality finnish on these rims, just wondering if I should wax them before having them installed. apparently Town Fair Tire has some weird policy about owner supplied rims, that they will mount and balance the wheel, but will not install them to the truck , due to not being able to replace the rims (not purchased from them), so i have to take the rims/tires, and truck to the parking lot install them myself, and bring it back in for alignment...

Eh it’s up to you. I knew mine were going to get beat up so I don’t bother trying to keep them nice. I have rock rash on 2 or 3 of them from playing on trails.
