I have been the unfortunate victim of a stolen tailgate. We are proud first time owners to an actual NEW truck. Did not even make my first truck payment and poof stolen! I'm on the verge of loosing my mind and all my hair trying to look for a replacement. A dealer replacement estimate was $3,100.00. I have called all over town for junkyards with no success. Even looked on craigslist and offer up but some adds ares sketchy. The affordable ones wont send you pics or answer specific questions. Before I buy one does anyone know what year would fit best.

That’s such a bummer! Not sure to the answer but I’m sure someone will chime in.

Should be 2016 to current all models I believe.

First post on tw is about a stolen tailgate. By a woman. And it's a 2019 so you know they have insurance. This post is sounding sketchy.

2016 and up should fit. If you buy a used or possibly stolen one, make sure the camera works before you pay for it. Also, you will have to consider the cost of getting a new lock and key for the tailgate, because most likely the one you purchase will not come with a key.
Also note, if your truck is black, the shade of black did change at some point, not sure but maybe 2018.
