Not yet, so far only beef. I plan to try pork ribs with it and another rack with my goto on pork https://www.amazon.com/Cowtown-Squeal-Ounce-Shaker-Bottle/dp/B000WLEIOQ
If On Point beats Squeal I will be very impressed. And I am already impressed with On Point. Unicorn dammit!!

Yes. Very good. I prefer the OG for ribs myself but the ones I did a couple weekends ago came out really good.

Cap steak is AKA the ribeye cap, deckle steak, calotte or spinalis dorsi

And the best piece of beef according to many. Put me into that camp. Most places tie it with string.

Fuck that cut that string and warp it in bacon. Because bacon. And cap steak...

Some call it the tail of the ribeye also. I save it for the end, it is the reward for getting through the "lesser" meat

I am a bit of a capsteak whore. And have a quite a few pics in this thread of my cooks of it. A few that will helpfully get the idea across...

Exposes more surface area to hold more rub and you end up with more bark.

So seeing how you are doing "Buffalo" beans does that mean that you're pulling for the Buffalo Bulls on the college side? Or starting next week the Bills?

    Asking for a friend :p

I tried to multi quote.. but yes, more bark, more surface area, more rub, more gooder IMO. Been doing this for over twenty years. If you’re not afraid of heavy smoke/rub/spice flavor, give it a try.

Fuck you, you purple hull shooting fucker... I hate pro ball, still enjoy college. Wish I had some buddies with land to shoot some quail at least. They are making a slight comeback? Grouse Don’t think we have those? I have had an occasional woodcock make me about shit my pants on occasion.

    Yeah Go NAVY! Beat army.

No grouse don't like people so you will not see them down there. I do shoot woodcock but normally not a fan of eating anything that eat worms. Or has the name cock in it. But if done right...

Hell if the flush of a woodcock makes you shit your britches then don't bother messing with ruff grouse. You are too old and would have a heart attack after you shit your britches when they flush, the Indians called them the Thunder Bird :p
